This conference is the 3rd Edition of the International Conference on “Modern Trends in Molecular Magnetism (MTMM)” going to be held at the Department of Chemistry, IIT Kharagpur during December 11-14, 2022. The previous two editions of the Modern Trends in Molecular Magnetism conference were successfully organized by IIT Bombay (2016) and IISER Bhopal (2019). In the third edition of this meeting, we intend to provide a platform in the historical and beautiful campus of IIT Kharagpur to discuss recent developments in different areas of Molecular Magnetism with an aim to integrate chemists, physicists and materials scientists from all over the world. Program Schedule
Kharagpur is known world over for two landmarks. One, the longest railway platform, and the other, the Indian Institute of Technology, more commonly known as IIT. Situated about 120 km west of Kolkata, Kharagpur is well connected to Kolkata by Road and Rail transport. Kharagpur can be reached in about 2 hours by train or 3 hours by car from the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU), Kolkata. Kharagpur is also connected by direct train services to most major cities of the country. The Institute is about 10 minutes drive (5 km) from the Kharagpur railway station.
