Research Interests

The focus of our research group is to study chemical reactions using computational chemistry tools.
Some of the topics of current interest are:
Reaction Mechanism
transition metal catalyzed cyclization and cycloaddition reactions
enzymatic reactions
photochemical reactions
Structure and Bonding
Analysis of novel and complex structure and bonding
Development
Methods for efficient and automated identification of reaction paths.
We use methods such as,
ab-initio, Density Functional Theory (DFT), semi-empirical, Molecular mechanics (MM), QM/MM etc.
