Post-Doctoral Fellowships

Admissions for post-doctoral fellowship are done round the year. Doctoral degree: Ph.D

Admission is done through the admission test and interview conducted by the Department. Minumum requirement for the candidate is CSIR/UGC qualified or a valid GATE score. Applications are to be submitted as per the instructions given in the Click here to view

MSc-PhD Dual Degree

Addmission through Nationwise JAM examination. A student admitted to a M.Sc.- Ph.D. Dual Degree program will be allowed to enroll for Ph.D. provided he/she has certain minimum CGPA at the end of the fourth semester; otherwise he/she will have to leave with a M.Sc. degree. A student may also on his/her own, decide not to continue with the Ph.D. program and leave with an M.Sc. degree after the end of the fourth semester.

Integrated MSc

Admission to UG courses is conducted through written entrance examinations. Addmission through Nationwise IIT-JEE entrance examination. Duration of the course is five years. 15% of the seats are reserved for students belonging to SC and 7.5% for ST. In addition 27% separate reservation exists for the Other Backward Classes.
