Research Statement

Our research works are highly interdisciplinary in nature and addresses problems of electrochemical interest, from fundamental studies of electrochemical and photoelectrochemical energy conversion and storage to electrocatalytic and bioelectrocatalytic sensing. We design and synthesize various functional materials and molecular self-assemblies for electrochemical applications. Our main focus is to develop new materials for amperometric sensing, oxygen reduction, hydrogen & oxygen evolution reactions and energy storage including supercapacitors and metal-air battery.
